Bitumen for road paving and asphalt applications.
Bitumen PEN 30/45 is a standard penetration grade Bitumen usually used in road construction for the production of asphalt pavements with superior properties. Bitumen PEN 30/45 is mainly used in the manufacture of hot mix asphalt for bases and wearing courses.
The use of Bitumen PEN 30/45 in bituminous mix at similar dosages than other classic penetration bitumen gives asphalt mixes better resilience allowing optimizations of the pavement structure.
Bitumen PEN 30/45 is manufactured in refinery from fractional distillation of crude oil specially selected for bitumen applications and certified by an external laboratory all along the supply chain.
As all the Penetration Grade bitumen, Bitumen PEN 30/45 is designated by its penetration range and specified by the penetration and softening point test.
